Ok so I came across this weirdness awhile back while I was working dailies on my nelf  hunter Femorill,  I had gotten the rental griffin from over in K3 and from those of you who have used it, you know that you have to manually dismount before you can take another action.  Unlike a normally flying mount where you simply click an action and you auto dismount.   So just south of the Shadowvault in Icecrown doing the Ebon Blade dailies I was on my rental griffin and i right clicked on one of the harpoon launchers for the quest Shoot em Up and I noticed that it let me auto dismount…however…it did not auto dismiss my griffin…he stood there right next to me while I completed my quest.I thought…maybe he will go away when I call another so I called griffin….and another one showed up.  So here I am mounted on a griffin with another following faithfully behind me.  Hehehe needless to say I repeated the process till I had a heard of these faithfull little fluffy feathered friends following me all over Icecrown. I think it was worth it.
