The Karazhan Song by Sharm aka Tainted Lore

Why the Karazhan song you ask?  Kara was so last year…why yes, yes it was, but darnit I love that place, its where I cut my teeth raiding, its where I got my first epic, and its where I laughed my ass off the first time I got turned into little red riding hood and had to run from the big bad wolf!  Karazhan is in my opinion the single best raid instance in the game.  the fights where challenging but fun, the layout of a giant haunted castle is amazing and the creepy organ music playing in the background…it just…fit.  I always feel like Karazhan was built with Disney’s Haunted House in mind, and Kara always had that same kind of spooky fun to it.  Yeah its nostalgia for something that isn’t even that old, but how many new players will never know how fun that place was.  Do your guild a favor, set up a fun run of Kara some weekday and show those noobs how great Kara is.

Alright by far, Hands DOWN, this is the single funniest video I have seen for World of Warcraft, its a promo video that’s a joint effort between J!nx and Blizzard to promote some new shirts, sadly these Save The Murloc t’s can’t be bought online and are only available at Hot Topic in stores, but still J!nx has lots of other great shirts to check out as well.

Core Hound Pup

As a total surprise today on the launch of patch 3.3 Blizzard rewarded those of us who use their authenticator to log in with a cute as a flaming hell deamon Core Hound Pup vanity pet! he barks, rolls over, hops up on his hind legs, man this guy is cute.

So Blizzard made it official on their main page today, if you buy an authenticator for account security, you will get a Core Hound Pup once you link the authenticator to your account. What does it do and why is it worth it? Well quite simply its a small LED display that shows seven digits when you press a button. the numbers change every 5 seconds or so. When you go to log into your account after you enter your password you will be asked for the number from your authenticator, press the button, enter the number bingo. NO ONE can log into your account without that unique number from your unique authenticator. So ya see you can give someone your password and they still can’t log into your account. Nice huh?
OH..so where can you get your authenticator and how much is it?

So your a huge fan of World of Warcraft, you play the game, you have some T-Shirts, but did you know that Tokyo Pop publishes manga as well?  Tokyo Pop, one fo the primere manga publishers here in the US has published a large number of World of Warcraft manga, including the new Release of World of Warcraft: Death Knights Volume 1.  As a fan of manga myself I’ve been quite impressed with the quality of these books, considering the average price is only around $7 each they are affordable, and honestly the manga art style is very well suited to WoW.  I won’t give any spoilers on any of the books, but Ill just say that if you are a fan of Wow Lore, the World of Warcraft manga from Tokyo Pop are a must have for any fan.
